Producers

A key priority for Creu Cymru is the development of relationships with producers and practitioners.
As part of our ongoing relationship with WAPA (Wales Association for the Performing Arts) and the ABO (Association of British Orchestras), we set up events and fora aimed at increasing dialogue and understanding, and developing creative collaborations. We also co-ordinate meetings and workshops involving marketers from the producing and presenting sectors, focusing on best practice.

Independent producers and artists are encouraged to approach us for advice on touring and engaging with the presenting sector – see Dance Buddy and Futures for examples of specific programmes of work in this vein. And we regularly support work-in-progress sharings by arranging complementary events for our presenters alongside.
