Yvonne is originally from Aberaeron, but moved to Aberystwyth in 1977 to start working at the College of Librarianship in Llanbadarn.

Before joining Creu Cymru, Yvonne and her husband ran Ernies Fish & Chip Shop in Aberystwyth, which had been in the family for over 60 years.  Yvonne has worked for Creu Cymru from the beginning, joining in 2001, and at that time it was a job share Administrator post.  Her role at Creu Cymru is to be the main contact for all the members, organise meetings, Go & See visits, general administration and supporting the team (to name but a few things!).

Yvonne lives in Aberystwyth with her husband,4 black Labradors and 9 chickens!  Yvonne has 2 children, both are living in Canada currently, and they reckon that their parents have replaced them with 4 labradors!  When not working Yvonne loves cooking, baking, knitting, going for walks with the dogs and visiting their children when possible in Canada.
